I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech, working under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Brown in the Code World No Blanket Group. My broad research interest lies in developing AI-driven tools for software development, enriched by insights from human psychology to enhance user experience and developer efficiency.
Specifically, I focus on creating solutions that improve large-scale program comprehension and streamline onboarding processes. My work includes building adaptive, multi-agent LLM-powered visualizations that support dynamic interactions tailored to evolving user needs.
My research addresses the critical challenges developers face when navigating complex codebases, joining new teams, and collaborating in large-scale environments. By designing tools that simplify workflows and reduce cognitive overhead, I aim to bridge the gap between the mental demands of software engineering and practical development workflows.
Prior to graduate school, I worked for several years as a software developer and tech lead, where I led cross-functional projects and deepened my technical expertise. This industry experience grounds my research in real-world needs and informs my approach to building intuitive, impactful AI tools for the tech community.
